The Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site has joined the nation in mourning, following the death of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, which was announced on Friday 9 April 2021.

Paddy Rodgers, Director of Royal Museums Greenwich and Chair of Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site said: “The support given to the Borough, to the Cutty Sark and the Museum, has been quietly effective for us and the unwavering interest and continuity of support over more than 70 years speaks volumes for his interest and dedication. On behalf of all who have benefitted I would like to offer thanks for his unique contribution”.
